ImPACT Applications and The Rothman Institute Establish Comprehensive Concussion Management Program

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ImPACT Applications, Inc., developer of the ImPACT^© Test and ImPACT Concussion Management Model, announced a partnership with Rothman Institute, an internationally recognized center of excellence in orthopaedic science and technology, to support Rothman Institute's initiative with concussion education and baseline screenings for student athletes.

The partnership includes a global contract for ImPACT's baseline and post-injury testing. In addition, Athletic Trainers at Rothman Institute will receive specialized training in ImPACT neurocognitive baseline and post-injury test administration and the implementation of ImPACT's Concussion Management Model. At the completion of the training, the Athletic Trainers will become credentialed ImPACT Trained Athletic Trainers (ITATs).
