This holiday, save that family favorite homemade recipe and enter it in the Man-O-Manischewitz cooking competition.  To enter simply log onto www.manischewitz.com- from now until December 31st, 2010 to upload your recipe.  Five finalists will be chosen to win an expense paid trip to NYC on March 31st, to compete live in front of an esteemed panel of judges consisting of food media and other culinary experts.  The $25,000 grand prize package includes GE Profile kitchen appliances, cash and more!  Here finalists will meet Legendary Chef Jacques Pepin who will act as head judge. Pepin is an internationally recognized award winning legendary chef whose many accolades include chef, book author, host of a PBS series and a new TV series called The Essential Pepin.

Four of the five finalists will be chosen by a judging panel and one will be selected by online voting posted at www.manischewitz.com from January 17th – 31st, 2011.

Entrants are required to submit a family-friendly recipe using one of the new Manischewitz All-Natural Broths, which include Chicken, Reduced-Sodium Chicken, Beef and the new Vegetable Broth! The competition encourages home chefs to experiment with Kosher products while preparing delicious recipes that could become a new family favorite.

The cook-off raises awareness about Jewish American Heritage Month (JAHM), a national month of recognition of the more than 350-year history of Jewish contributions to American culture. The Manischewitz Company is the founding sponsor of JAHM, and works with the JAHM steering committee to drive awareness of events and programs.
