Four-year donation totals top $100,000
ROSEMONT, Ill., Jan. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Incentive Gift Card Council (IGCC), a strategic industry group within the Incentive Marketing Association, helped to make the recent holiday season brighter for U.S. combat veterans and their families through their contribution to the Wounded Warrior Project®.
IGCC Holiday Gift Campaign committee members presented Wounded Warrior Project officials with $31,800 in gift cards contributed by IGCC members. The cards, representing a broad range of retail, food, and entertainment brands, directly supported injured servicemen and women and their families.
To date, the IGCC campaign, in its short four-year history, has raised more than $100,000, supporting the Wounded Warrior Project, as well as the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. "Once again, our members stepped forward in the true spirit of the season to help others, and we're thankful for their generous contributions," said Campaign Chairman Rory Smith of Ovation Incentives.
