The announcement was made during the Digital Health Summit at the 2013 International CES in Las Vegas, where Independa is exhibiting in Booth # 26520.

Independa Angela gives elderly individuals who live alone and residents of senior living communities one-touch access to medication and appointment reminders, as well as email, health information, games, photos and more. This offering is part of Independa's cloud-based suite of integrated, technology-enabled independent-living solutions that enable professional caregivers to help seniors prolong their independence, safety and comfort.  

Ease of use is paramount. The Samsung Mobile Galaxy Tab 2 will be pre-loaded with Independa Angela only, removing the need to learn any additional applications. This simple, effortless and integrated solution will be fully supported by Samsung Mobile, including boot-up, remote monitoring, remote updates and technical support. The Angela-equipped tablet will be available through Independa enterprise customers and distribution partners, including health insurers, senior living facilities and home care providers.
