Independence Pet Holdings Appoints Gary Levenbach as President and Chief Actuary of Independence American Insurance Company

NEW YORK, Aug. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Independence Pet Holdings, Inc. (IPH) announces the appointment of Gary Levenbach as President and Chief Actuary for its subsidiary, Independence American Insurance Company (IAIC). With more than two decades of expertise in actuarial and finance roles within the insurance industry, Gary will oversee the organization's risk management and financial strategy.

Levenbach possesses an extensive background in reinsurance strategy, talent development, and cross-functional collaboration spanning actuarial, finance, and business operations. During his career, Gary spent more than 15 years at Cigna Corporation, where he progressively advanced through various roles in group health, disability, and life insurance sectors. He earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Michigan and holds the professional designations of Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).

Gary will report to Sheit Dhaon, Chief Administrative and Financial Officer of IPH.
