Indigo Captures Re-Compete of DISA BRAC Relocation Project

RESTON, Va., April 8 /PRNewswire/ -- With the follow-on award of Project Execution for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) BRAC C4I/IT Relocation, Indigo IT, LLC (Indigo) continues to increase its footprint within the Defense Community. Indigo will assist NCI as a key subcontractor in support of DISA for BRAC efforts at Fort Meade, MD. This contract has a total value of $83.7M if all options are exercised. Indigo and prime partner NCI were chosen based on their outstanding performance on the preceding task order for consolidating seven data center sites throughout the Washington Capitol Region to one state-of-the-art facility at Fort Meade.

Meade and extended from May 2006 through June 2009. This included comprehensive technical engineering as well as serving in the role of Project Director. Indigo inventoried and developed DISA's Command Control Communications Computer Intelligence Systems Requirements and IT Infrastructure (C4I/IT) for seven data center sites throughout the Metropolitan Region, and provided associated system design layouts, diagrams, requirements documentation, and implementation plans for the consolidated facility. Indigo researched cutting edge technologies used in developing the infrastructure for the data center, including testing and evaluation labs, analysis centers, and telecommunications.
