Individuals with Spinal Cord Injury Surf at Life Rolls On Foundation's Signature Program, They Will Surf Again

MALIBU, Calif., April 12, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- More than 400 individuals will gather at Zuma Beach on Saturday, April 13 as Life Rolls On Foundation, subsidiary of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, hosts "They Will Surf Again" (TWSA), a powerful afternoon that enables individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI) to experience the freedom of riding a wave through the assistance of adaptive surfboards and volunteers. Surfing experience is not required, as for many, it will be their first time in the ocean.

"But as we have been told by so many of our talented surfers, we are not just providing a day of surf and sun, we are helping them find their ability to defeat disability and to focus on the infinite possibilities that lie ahead."
