Quinton Ellis Provides Substantial Expertise to the Standards & Practices of the Industry
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., Feb. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital Forensics, Inc. (CFI) introduces Quinton Ellis as a new member of their securities industry expert staff supporting arbitration cases. Quinton has more than three decades of experience in the securities industry both in sales and management. His industry career includes serving as a registered representative as well as management at the branch, district, regional and divisional levels of the retail sector, all amassed during his 32-year career at Merrill Lynch.
"Quinton's experience in the securities industry is extensive, as he has supervised directly hundreds of Financial Consultants in four different branch offices across the country. He has sales management experience at positions up to the divisional level involving thousands of Financial Consultants. His management responsibilities included hiring and training new Financial Consultants, recruiting established Financial Consultants from competitors, compliance oversight, revenue performance, and profitability. Quinton has also supervised a non-resident client office of 20 Financial Consultants doing business primarily in Mexico as part of his duties as San Diego Managing Director. During his career, Quinton carried both representative and management licenses, including the General Securities (Series 7), NYSE Branch Manager (Series 8), and NASD Principal (Series 24) as well as the Investment Advisory license (Series 65). Quinton earned a Certified Financial Planner designation and has held life insurance and real estate licenses. He served for three years on the Kansas City District Business Conduct Committee of the NASD adjudicating instances of alleged wrongdoing by industry members. He holds both a BS and MBA from Drake University.
