Industry Veteran Jeff Cave Joins OneAscent as Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships

Veteran wealth management leader will help advisors and firms design their preferred future through values-aligned guidance.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- OneAscent, a family of Kingdom-minded companies delivering values-aligned financial solutions to advisors and investors, today announced that Jeff Cave has joined the firm as Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. 

In this newly created role, Cave will work alongside financial advisors and firms across the country to help them move into their "Preferred Future" by evaluating their businesses, identifying growth opportunities, and exploring how OneAscent's platform and business model can support their next stage of impact. Drawing on more than two decades of experience in wealth management, he will serve as a trusted partner to advisors considering affiliation, succession, independence, or strategic growth. 

Cave's approach begins with understanding each advisor's business and priorities, including where the practice is today, what matters most, and where the advisor wants to go next. That discovery is the foundation for designing their Preferred Future, and from there Cave helps advisors and firms see how OneAscent's platform, guidance, and values-aligned investment solutions can support their growth and long-term impact.

Cave brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the wealth and asset management industry. Most recently, Cave served in several roles at Eventide Asset Management, helping the firm grow distribution and assets.  Before Eventide, Mr. Cave spent over 20 years at Merrill Lynch, most recently as Director, Ultra High Net Worth Wealth Management Specialist for the Private Banking & Investment Group in New York City. He also served in SMA operations, marketing, and advisor training, helping to grow some of the industry`s most successful advisory fee-based platforms. He is also widely recognized for founding and leading the Christian Focus Group at Merrill Lynch, a nationwide network of over 1,600 advisors who seek to integrate Christian principles of finance with clients. 

Mr. Cave holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) certification, administered by the Investment Management Consultants Association and taught in conjunction with the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®) and a member of the Board of Directors for Kingdom Advisors - an organization founded by Ron Blue and Larry Burkett. He also served on the Board of Managers for the Ron Blue Institute for Financial Planning.

Jeff holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota and a BBA from Loyola University. Jeff and his wife live in Pennsylvania.
