Industry Veteran Jim Lamon Launches New Company - E3 International - to Serve the Utility Scale Solar PV Market
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Nov. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- E3 International (E3I) has been launched by Jim Lamon along with a recognized team of solar power veterans. The company's mission is to provide utilities, independent power producers and project development companies with compelling and bankable solutions for the utility scale solar photovoltaic (PV) market. The company provides three core offerings: (1) Project Development Support, (2) Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC), and (3) Operations and Maintenance (O&M). The company has drawn its name E3 International, from its three major focuses: economics, environment and energy.
Lamon is a power industry veteran. His teams have built gigawatts of traditional power plants while he was President Aker Kvaerner Power, and then President Shaw Power. In 2008, he joined First Solar, and applied his utility-scale leadership to the clean energy industry, where his EPC/O&M division built gigawatts of solar power. He achieved ENR's #2 Power Contractor ranking at both Shaw Power and First Solar along with a strong Customer reputation of projects built safely, on schedule and on budget.
