Infinite Advance™ Gives New Opportunity to Low Credit Customers
Infinite Energy's prepaid natural gas provides credit-challenged customers with low rates and immediate service
GAINESVILLE, Fla., Aug. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Consumers expect that credit scores determine car payments and credit card offers, but in Georgia's deregulated market, credit also determines the price of natural gas. Historically, low credit customers haven't had many options, but prepaid programs like Infinite Energy's Infinite Advance™ are creating new possibilities.
Georgia natural gas customers may choose their own suppliers, but they must meet credit requirements. Customers who can't qualify are obligated to use a regulated provider. Infinite Advance™ eliminates these credit concerns by allowing customers to prepay their natural gas so that no one is turned away due to credit scores.
The program allows customers to build or rebuild their credit, and applicants with bad credit, low credit, and no credit are all accepted. Additionally, Infinite Advance™ will offer the same competitive rates and customer service fee to all customers, prepaid or not.
Though Infinite Energy is one of several marketers currently offering a prepaid program, not all marketers have adopted the same approach. The Georgia PSC apples-to-apples comparisons have shown some prepaid rates to be equal to or higher than the prices listed by the regulated provider. Many prepaid programs also charge higher customer service fees or even still have credit requirements.
In August 2011, Infinite Advance™ offered the lowest prepay variable rate and the lowest prepay customer service fee. Infinite Advance™ customers do not pay any deposit and are not bound to a contracted term.
"We think disadvantaged customers deserve a break," said Darin Cook, CEO of Infinite Energy. "With Infinite Advance™, we can offer customers new opportunities to pay market prices like everybody else."
