New and current Infinite Energy customers will receive the Nest thermostat at no cost upon enrolling in a 24-month fixed rate plan. The Nest, which retails for $249, is self-programming. It learns a homeowner's schedule and automatically adjusts itself, reducing A/C runtimes by 25 percent and heating runtimes by 15 percent.
