InfoSec Global and Synopsys Collaborate to Deliver Complete Hardware/Software Root of Trust Solution

(Nasdaq: SNPS) today announced a collaboration to provide a comprehensive, embedded Root of Trust solution that integrates InfoSec Global's Agile Cryptography capabilities with Synopsys' DesignWare® tRoot™ Hardware Secure Module. The combined solution will provide designers with the programming interfaces needed to customize and differentiate their system-on-chips (SoCs) for highly secure industrial IoT applications such as programmable logic controllers, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Distributive Control Systems (DCS).

To build a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), the industrial IoT supply chain is using platforms comprising various security IP components that must be integrated during system development using fixed encryption schemes.
