Infrared Systems International Announces Name and Symbol Change to Reflect New Corporate Strategy

SILVERDALE, Wash., Sept. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Infrared Systems International (OTCBB: IFRS) announced it has changed its name to AquaLiv Technologies, Inc. in order to better reflect its new corporate strategy.  Along with the name change the company has been issued a new symbol by FINRA of AQLV.  The name and symbol change become effective at the open of business on Monday, September 19, 2011.

The announcement comes just after the recent distribution of all assets of subsidiary Infrared Applications, Inc., a company holding patents based on infrared technology applications.

According to Infrared Systems International, the name change is to provide greater transparency of its focus on subsidiary AquaLiv, Inc., a life sciences research and development company.
