Drivers hope to earn $10,000 or a new car for owning the ugliest car in Texas
SAN ANTONIO, Texas, June 4, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Ingram Park Auto Center is judging a car by its paint job in a contest for the ugliest car in Texas. The "Whose Car is the Ugliest" contest, beginning Mon., June 3, 2013 is meant to find the car that stops traffic for all of the wrong reasons. If the car is outdated, dilapidated, or hideously painted, Ingram Park Auto Center wants to hear about it. Drivers can turn in an entertaining, lighthearted 60-second or less video about what makes their car the ugliest in the hopes of earning up to $10,000 cash or $10,000 towards the purchase of a new car in San Antonio TX at Ingram Park Auto Center.

The hopeful ugliest car in Texas needs to be featured in a brief video no longer than 60 seconds. The tone should be light and humorous to accompany the vehicle's outlandish appearance. Any submissions with a sob story will not be considered, as this contest is meant to be fun and amusing. Contestants may consider writing a song, giving a vehicle tour, or anything else that helps the vehicle to stand out from other entries. Describe what makes the vehicle so ugly and offer insight into how it became hideous.
Only one submission for the ugliest car in Texas will be allowed per individual or group. Submissions will end at midnight, July 7, 2013. Starting July 8, 2013, all of the submissions will be visible on the Whose Car is the Ugliest website, where the public will be able to view and vote on the most unsightly vehicle. Voting will end Aug. 4, 2013 at 11:59 pm, and on Aug., 7, 2013 the entry with the most votes will win and be publicly announced.
Once voting begins, voters will be prompted to "like" Ingram Park Auto Center on Facebook. They will then be able to vote on the website once a day until the end of the contest. The more creative the video, the more likely the vehicle is to win. Only one vehicle will win, so it is important to tell neighbors, friends, family, coworkers, etc. to shine the spotlight on the ugliest car in Texas.
