Ingram Park Nissan Continues to Rummage for the Ugliest Car in Texas

SAN ANTONIO, June 26, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Ingram Park Nissan is continuing its search for the ugliest car in Texas with the "Whose Car is the Ugliest" contest, which started on June 3, 2013. The ultimate goal of the contest is to rummage through all of Texas to find the most repulsive, uniquely unattractive vehicle in the state. Whether these foul vehicles are collecting dust in a garage or causing traffic jams on the road, Ingram Park Nissan wants drivers to enter their cars for the chance to win $10,000 cash or $10,000 towards the purchase of a new car in San Antonio TX.

Vehicles that are the talk of the town, but not in a good way, or are the embarrassment of the neighborhood must be showcased in an entertaining video no longer than a minute in length. The video should highlight every detail of the vehicle's unappealing personality in a lighthearted manner. Ingram Park Nissan is looking for creative, humorous entries that showcase every quirk and crevice throughout the vehicle. Videos with sob stories will not be considered as this contest was created in the spirit of fun.

Videos that truly capture the spirit of the contest will earn the top spot, and the more unique and unconventional the entries are, the more they will stand out amongst their competitors. Entrants may consider performing a song or interpretive dance about the gut-churning vehicle. They may employ family, friends, neighbors or coworkers to show the story of how the driver and his or her putrid car came to be. Participants only get to enter one video per person or group, so tastefully push the boundaries to get to the top of the ugly car list.

Submissions will be accepted until midnight, July 21, 2013 and on July 22, 2013 all entries will be posted on whosecaristheugliest.com. Voting ends at 11:59 pm, Aug. 4, 2013 and the winner will be announced Aug. 7, 2013. Voters will first be directed to "like" Ingram Park Auto Center on Facebook. They will then enter the contest website to browse entries and vote on their top choice once a day until the contest closes.
