Ink Films Announces Feature-Length Animated Shorts Program Curated by Don Hertzfeldt: Animation Mixtape

Set for exclusive theatrical release Fall 2025

This feature-length collection of animated short films will be screened exclusively in theaters across North America beginning Fall 2025.

A dazzling journey through the minds of some of the world's most exciting animators, Animation Mixtape features 12 exceptional short films that span the spectrum of strange, surreal, and sublime. Flying cows, mysterious gods, and lyrical pandemonium unfold in a curated lineup that blends cutting-edge new voices with unforgettable classics—including never-before-seen work from famed underground animator Bruce Bickford and a new animated introduction from Hertzfeldt himself.

Curated by Hertzfeldt, the program spotlights rising talents alongside the influential classics that first sparked his passion for animation more than three decades ago.
