Innovation Advisors Assists dotMobi With Strategic Acquisition by Afilias Limited

NEW YORK, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Innovation Advisors congratulates its client dotMobi on the company's purchase by Afilias Limited.  Financial terms were not disclosed.

Working closely with dotMobi's management team and board of directors, Innovation Advisors structured and negotiated the company's strategic acquisition by Afilias Limited, a global provider of Internet infrastructure services. Both dotMobi and Afilias are based in Dublin, Ireland.

dotMobi was founded in 2004 to launch the .mobi top level domain and expand the development of mobile friendly content on the Internet. The company was funded by a global consortium of leading mobile and Internet organizations: Ericsson, GSM Association, Google, Hutchison, Microsoft, Nokia, Orascom Telecom, Samsung Electronics, Syniverse, Telefonica Moviles, Telecom Italia, T-Mobile, Visa and Vodafone.
