Innovation and the Continuous Upgrading of Medicare Compliance Tools Lead to New and Expanded Contracts for Health Technology Firm
PITTSBURGH, April 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Three large providers of Medicare Advantage services have contracted with marketing and health care compliance technology firm HealthPlanCRM in preparation for the 2013 Medicare Advantage annual enrollment cycle. SCAN Health Plan of California, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee and Universal American of Texas now rely on HealthPlanCRM for a wide variety of tools —from time-tested user-friendly mobile applications for Medicare sales agents, to research and predictive market analytics, to the company's flagship product MedicareCRM, which provides cloud-based software to manage workflow efficiency and compliance. Additionally, Capital District Physicians' Health Plan, Inc. of New York, (CDPHP) recently extended and expanded their partnership with HealthPlanCRM, strengthening an engagement which began more than six years ago.
"The utilization of MedicareCRM has not only had a profound impact on our ability to be more effective acquiring new members, but it also goes a long way to ensure that we are compliant with the regulations set forth by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)," said Bob Hinckley, Senior Vice President, government and external relations for CDPHP. "Our new agreement with HealthPlanCRM will ensure that we will have the best in class Medicare marketing and sales automation software for the coming enrollment years."
One reason contracts are signed with HealthPlanCRM is because of time-tested technologies, like integration of its software platform real-time with mobile applications for sales agents — a feature that the company has offered since 2006. Other clients have signed contracts with HealthPlanCRM because of the company's reputation of efficiency and customer service. For example, in 2011 HealthPlanCRM secured a Peoples Health of Louisiana contract that required a very tight schedule of less than 3 months. Peoples Health needed its MedicareCRM platform enabled in time for the 2012 Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). HealthPlanCRM deployed its software in less than 90 days, a common business practice and configuration timeline for HealthPlanCRM.
"They worked hard for us. HealthPlanCRM met our requirements for a system and had our CRM installed and up and running on a tight schedule. This effort allowed us to maximize every opportunity available for the AEP campaign," said Rick Redmann, Jr., director of marketing for Peoples Health of Louisiana.
