Innovative Healthcare Products Donated to Firefighters Battling the Wallow Fire in Arizona

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., July 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Executives from BR Enterprises in Scottsdale, Arizona recently traveled to the scene of the Wallow Fire Zone 3 NE, SE Region.  William Brin, Sr. Vice President Sales, BR Enterprises, met with members of the Phoenix firefighting medical units under the direction of George Reyes, unit leader of the Phoenix Fire Dept. The purpose of the trip was for BR Enterprises and Priority Environmental Solutions to donate PRO1TEK products to help firefighters in the field. PRO1TEK products are non-alcohol based, non-toxic, non-flammable and specifically designed to assist firefighters in these types of environments.  These products have already proven their value and effectiveness with our troops in Afghanistan.

According to the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC), the year-to-date number of nation-wide wildfires at the beginning of June 2011 was 29,857 burning 3.45 million acres.

In a situation like a wildfire, exposure to the heat with sweat build up on the skin can create a prime area for bacteria and contaminates to build up on the body; these non-alcohol, non-toxic, and non-flammable products are designed to help safely decrease the bacteria and irritation to the skin. The MyClyns Germ Protection Spray was one of the products used and can be personally applied to the face and skin for immediately response to exposures. For smoke in the eyes the MyClyns product can be used to provide a source of relief.  The PRO1TEK non-alcohol Hand Sanitizer and Body Wash Wipes were also distributed to provide body cleansing in the field.  Because the PRO1TEK products don't contain alcohol they can be safely carried directly on the firefighters when they are in remote locations and need to immediately respond to an exposure.
