ST. LOUIS, Jan. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- INROADS, Inc., a multi-cultural nonprofit whose mission is leadership development, career preparation and creating opportunity for talented, underserved youth, appointed Seddrick T. Hill, Sr., National Director of Alumni Engagement.
Hill will develop and implement programs and services to strengthen INROADS' relationship with its 27,000 alumni and work with the INROADS Alumni Association (IAA) to implement alumni events.
Previously, Hill was Georgia Piedmont Technical College's Director of Institutional Advancement and developed and implemented resource development plans, increased a major grant fivefold and secured a major in-kind gift from NBA player, Shaquille O'Neal, among other successes. As Director of Alumni Relations and Planned Giving at Shaw University, he increased alumni giving from six percent to 32 percent in a two-year period.

Hill earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration from Talladega College, a master's degree in Public Administration from Jacksonville State University and currently is pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Management at Hampton University. In addition, he holds a Certification in Philanthropy and Fundraising from the New York University (NYU) George H. Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising.
An Atlanta Association of Fundraising Professionals Minority Fellow, Hill led a session at the 28th International Fundraising Congress. He received the Outstanding Young Alumni Award from the United Negro College Fund National Alumni Council. He is an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
