industry.The first half of 2016 is coming to an end. H1 has witnessed the downturn in Chinese chlorpyrifos market, with its market price hitting record lows over the past five years. Specifically, in Q1 2016, mainstream market price of chlorpyrifos kept falling. The sluggish demand put producers under great business pressure. This downturn continued in Q2. It is predicted that the market price may rebound slightly in H2.
Meanwhile, given the downward overall pesticide market, larger regions restricting or banning its use abroad and slack demand from overseas purchasers, China's exports of chlorpyrifos also showed a downward trend, with decreases in both volume and price. This trend is predicted to go on in H2.
