Affected by the economic downturn, decreasing grain prices, weak demand, rising costs, environmental stress, pesticide industry was struggling for development in 2015. According to data from the ICAMA, in Jan. 2016, the new registration certifications of 6 insecticide technical (including 5 active ingredients) were approved in China (new registrations did not include renewal of old registrations).
In 2015, a total of 111 insecticide technical (including 43 active ingredients) were registered in China (new registrations did not include renewal of old registrations). Among them, 15 active ingredients of insecticide technical were registered over three times.
Currently, thiamethoxam is very popular with pesticide enterprises in China. Many domestic generic products producers want to develop market for its relevant products.
