Installation of Kanepi Controls & LFL High Bays reaches Phase 2 at Chrysler Warren Truck

WARREN, Mich., Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of the ongoing lighting and wireless controls retrofit of the Chrysler Warren Truck Assembly Plant, an additional 250 Light Corporation Semaphore fluorescent fixtures with Kanepi wireless controls were recently added to the 1,200 plus previously installed. Jeff Mongrain, Manufacturing Engineer at Chrysler Warren Truck, is spearheading this project that began in 2012. When fully completed in early 2015, Chrysler expects to achieve energy savings in excess of $1,000,000 annually with the new lighting and controls. Upon completion of the lighting and controls project, Chrysler's Warren Truck facility will have the ability to control the highly efficient Semaphore LFL high bay light fixtures to use energy only when, where and to what level is needed, automatically.
