Insurance Administrative Solutions (IAS) Hires Lane Kent as New President

LARGO, Fla., Sept. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Insurance Administrative Solutions, a nationally recognized Third Party Administrator providing companies in the life and health insurance industry with innovative solutions for the individual, group, volunteer, and worksite insurance markets, has announced that effective September 1, 2013, Mr. Lane Kent will be appointed to the position of President.

An industry leader in Long Term Care insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and other senior related health insurance products, Kent comes to IAS with more than two decades of demonstrated core experience.  An advocate for responsibility in planning for aging with independence and holistic care for seniors, he actively serves on the American Health Insurance Plan's LTC and Product Leadership Committee, and he is a member of the board of directors for the DST Health Insurance Advisory Board and the National Center for Creativity in Aging.

A former president and general manager of Univita Health's insurance administration business, Kent has adopted a "hands-on" approach to improving administrative efficiencies and creating opportunities for competitive advantages to product administration, and believes that now is the time for administrators to expand the number of products and services being offered.
