SAN FRANCISCO, March 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Socius Insurance Services, Inc., a management liability and property / casualty insurance wholesaler, today announced the impending retirement of Carol Rizzo after a successful insurance career, most recently as Chief Operating Officer at the company. It also announced the promotion of Chris Hook as Director of Operations and his relocation to its headquarters in San Francisco.
The role of Director of Operations will replace Carol Rizzo's position of COO, when she retires on December 31st, 2012. Carol started with the company in 2001, and has successfully guided the team through numerous endeavors including several office openings, a corporate name change and the transition to a paperless environment.
Chris has been managing Socius's Sacramento office since 2004. Socius will merge its Sacramento operations into its San Francisco headquarters. As he transitions into his new role, Chris will continue to service his book of business in conjunction with Darren Chilimidos, Senior Vice President in San Francisco.
