InsurTech startup DropIn, Inc. announces new CEO
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DropIn, Inc., provider of on-demand, live video platform for the insurance and automotive industries, is delighted to announce, Emilio Figueroa as its new CEO of insurance.
Mr. Figueroa, joins the team with over 27 years of experience in the commercial property & casualty insurance space. He recently led the creation of an insurance program for a risk management venture firm, and previously led innovation and creation across multiple insurance verticals ranging from MGA, an association captive, and multiple reinsurance firms.

The DropIn live video platform, founded in 2015 by entrepreneur Louis Ziskin, includes Drone, Droperator™, and ClaimsDirect™ capabilities.
ClaimsDirect™ allows each insurer to collaborate with the insured using a live video stream that can be directed by the insurer to capture all photos and videos that are required. The insured's photos and videos are uploaded to the DropIn platform where they are stored. Measurements can be extracted and can be readily downloaded.
The platform also offers a fleet of Droperators™ (1,200 of which are FAA 107 licensed drone pilots) as an on-demand workforce. The insurer enters in the address of the claim, and the Droperator™, within that radius, receives the notification and responds to the call.

Mr. Figueroa's leadership appointment comes at a time of significant growth for DropIn, as the company looks to expand its presence in the insurance industry.
Figueroa and Ziskin will be at the Majesco conference in Fort Lauderdale September 30th to October 4th. In addition, DropIn will have a booth at the InsureTech Connect conference in Vegas October 3rd and 4th.
