ROCHELLE PARK, N.J., March 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- INSYS Group announced today that it has teamed with Telect, a leading power solutions provider for the global communications industry, to deliver a world-class managed distributed power solution.
The INSYS Group/Telect power solution lets commercial customers accurately measure their power consumption in real-time at the circuit level, resulting in significant cost savings. "We've partnered with Telect to help our clients access tools that let them manage co-location power consumption based on their network element's actual consumption, as opposed to Manufacturers Maximum Configuration Models. That reduces their MRCs for power by 40 percent or more," stated Brian Hourihan, Managing Partner, INSYS Group.
Telect is the first company to develop DC power measurement at the circuit level. Its patented, maintenance-free electromagnetic sensors measure DC power passively without creating additional heat loads, while maintaining superior accuracy.
