The ViaSat Secured, Trusted Mobile Enterprise System is based entirely on commercial technology and is designed to provide government and commercial customers with military-grade security for communication of sensitive information. The technology creates a virtual secure environment on standard Android devices, enabling a trusted platform for secure enterprise extension to the mobile network. The ViaSat system is able to control and manage the device from the hypervisor level, providing trusted control over standard commercial mobile device management systems.
"Green Hills has shown its expertise in mobile security for over a decade," said Jon Korecki, executive director of Secure Network Systems at ViaSat. "The INTEGRITY Multivisor technology is a valuable component of our complete system for trusted handheld devices."
"ViaSat has built a highly secure mobile enterprise service for Android devices," said David Chandler, senior vice president at Green Hills Software. "Our technology helps reinforce ViaSat security and enable multi-domain operation on a trusted mobile device."
The INTEGRITY Multivisor interacts with other security elements in the phone to boost the overall level of security in the device. The virtual hardware abstraction enables rapid migration to new hardware, freeing developers to focus on differentiating features and functionality.
