Intelligent Decisions Awarded Five Year Client Computer/Server (CCS) BPA with the Air Force

ASHBURN, Va., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Intelligent Decisions, Inc. (ID), a premier global technology solutions provider specializing in Information Technology capabilities was awarded, as a small business, a five year Client Computer/Server (CCS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the United States Air Force.  This BPA will allow ID to provide the Air Force, and other organizations within the Department of Defense (DoD), a cost-cutting vehicle offering a wide range of end-user IT products.

The product categories listed on ID's BPA may include all client (end-user), computing devices (computers and displays), servers and associated peripherals.  Products found on this BPA will be enterprise class with a stable platform configuration and be available for purchase during the full Quantum Enterprise Buy (QEB) cycle.  With over 50,000 square feet of warehousing and integration facilities, ID is well positioned to handle the potential for large volume purchasing associated with this contract. Logistical services placed on this BPA include image loading, asset tagging and IUID, which ensures the secure and accurate delivery of products to DoD locations both in CONUS and OCONUS.  

In addition to the Air Force, authorized users from organizations within the Department of Defense will also be able to utilize this CCS BPA. These organizations include: TRICARE Management Agency, Office of the Surgeon General, Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Department of the Navy, Department of the Army and Office of the Secretary of Defense, along with contractors supporting these agencies.

In support of winning this BPA, representatives from ID's AF CCS Program Team will be presenting to the Air Force IT Commodity Council (AFITCC) on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 1:30 – 3:30 PM Central Daylight Time.  The council determines the desktop/notebook/monitor baseline specifications for the entire Air Force every six months.   ID's presentation will provide the council with a technology roadmap and trends to assist them with future QEB planning.  Additionally, Intelligent Decisions will be participating in the Air Force Information Technology Conference (AFITC) this August 30-September 1, 2010 at the Renaissance Montgomery Convention Center in Montgomery, AL.  They have secured booth #424 to demonstrate various innovative technologies including Mashup technology, green power conditioning and mesh network connectivity every hour during the exhibit.  ID is also a sponsor of the MACC-ITC Golf Tournament held at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail on September 2nd and the AFCEA Banquet on September 1st.
