Intelligent Highway Solutions Announces Expansion of Title 24 to Include Lighting System Upgrades

SACRAMENTO, Calif., July 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Intelligent Highway Solutions, Inc. (OTCQB:IHSI), Intelligent Highway Solutions today announced they will be expanding on the Title 24 retrofits started last year with HVAC upgrades to include lighting.

IHSI relationship with SCS lighting and their solid-state diode / LED technology is a perfect match for the upgraded standards. Devon Jones CEO of IHSI stated, "We have established a program to upgrade the HVAC systems in California facilities pursuant to the Title 24 standards as that relate to HVAC controls. The new lighting standards which were adopted last year allow us to expand our base to include lighting upgrades to match the new 2014 standards. The new updated California energy efficiency standards which took effect last year improve energy efficiency in non-residential buildings by 30% more than the previous code established in 2008."

There are over 365 state-owned office buildings in California each one of the office buildings is mandated by law to be in compliance with title 24 which was created by the California Building Standards Commission in a legislative mandate to reduce California's energy consumption.
