Second-generation Northwest Chicago area plumbing services company continues steady growth
CHICAGO, Feb. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Intelligent Plumbing Services, a Northwest Chicago second-generation, family-owned plumbing services company, has doubled in sales since expanding their business in 2008.
Intelligent Plumbing Services expanded from performing only construction installs to include residential services to their list of options. "We wanted to be able to provide service to those residential areas where we had completed so many installs over the years," said Jason Kerr, owner of Intelligent Plumbing.
"We are experiencing new levels of growth for us," added Kerr. "We increased our number of employees last year, and we are looking forward to another 20 percent growth in sales this year. We're adding heating and air to our list of services and plan to hire several new employees for this expansion."
Intelligent Plumbing grew out of Kerr's family business started by his parents, Bob and Sallie Kerr in 1982. "They laid the foundation upon which we built Intelligent Plumbing," the younger Kerr noted. "We feel very strongly that my parents started something great in the Arlington Heights area, and my partner and I want to continue the tradition of excellence my folks began."
