Intercontinental Hotels Group Dedicates a Week to 'Celebrate Service' With Participation From WashDCHotels & B. F. Saul Company
BETHESDA, Md., July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- In 2010, Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) and the IHG Owner's Association (the IAHI) are inaugurating a new initiative, Celebrate Service, to recognize all their team members across the world for all their hard work. The week-long, worldwide celebration starts today, Monday, July 26 and runs through Friday, July 30. There is no corporate mandate on how individual hotels should bring Celebrate Service to life, for one of the objectives was to make this program as organic and accessible as possible. Festivities will range from things as simple as hotel owners walking the property giving out hugs and handshakes, to events as elaborate as a hotel-wide cookout. The purpose is simply that IHG is dedicating the entire week to highlighting and thanking their team members

Such events include a "Managers do your job for a day" raffle, Movie & Popcorn Party for all Team Members and their children, and corporate team members cooking breakfast for the staff.
