International Board for Certification of Safety Managers Announces Issuance of 3,000th Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) Credential

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Board, also known as the Board of Certified Hazard Control Management (BCHCM), was established in 1976 as a not-for-profit organization for personal hazard control management and safety credentials. The CHSP designation, established in 1978, focuses on the importance of effective healthcare safety management to the performance of healthcare organizations. The Board recently issued its 3,000th CHSP credential. This important milestone demonstrates the commitment by healthcare organizations to upgrade the performance of key safety-related positions.
