International Coal Group Stockholders Reelect Two Directors at Annual Meeting
NEW YORK, May 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- International Coal Group, Inc. (NYSE: ICO) announced that Cynthia B. Bezik and William J. Catacosinos were reelected as Class II directors for a three-year term on the Company's board of directors at the annual meeting of stockholders today.
Stockholders also ratified the appointment of Deloitte & Touche LLP as International Coal Group's independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2010 and defeated a stockholder proposal that would have required the Company to produce a report concerning greenhouse gas emissions.
At the meeting, approximately 90% of the shares outstanding were represented.
ICG is a leading producer of coal in Northern and Central Appalachia and the Illinois Basin. The Company has 13 active mining complexes, of which 12 are located in Northern and Central Appalachia and one in Central Illinois.
