International Postcard Show May 14th 15th & 16th, 2010 New Yorker Hotel 34th & 8th Ave
NEW YORK, April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The Metropolitan Postcard Club of New York City will host its Spring 2010 International Postcard Show & Sale on Friday, May 14th through Sunday, May 16th at the Hotel New Yorker, 34th St & 8th Avenue. Friday 12 Noon - 7:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM; and Sunday 11:00 AM-4:30 PM.
Admission is $7.00. A 3-day Weekend Pass is $10:00. More than 35 dealers from all over the world will be exhibiting & selling over two million postcards, all neatly categorized by subject and location.
Among the highlights of this year's show will be:
- An exhibition of postcards depicting "Ethnic New York on Postcards." This exhibit brings to life the ethnic neighborhoods, street life, restaurants, nightclubs, businesses, street fairs, theaters, churches, synagogues and hospitals.
- A presentation on the subject of Mysteries on New York City Ethnic Picture Postcards by Dan Miranda, long-time postcard dealer, collector & author. The seminar will begin at 10 AM on Sunday, May 16th.

The Metropolitan Postcard Club of New York City was founded in 1946 and is the oldest continuously-run postcard club in the United States. Members receive discounted admission to the Show.
