International Rum Festival Returns to Miami Beach

MIAMI, April 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The fourth annual Miami Rum Renaissance Festival begins on Monday, April 16 with a series of evening VIP rum parties hosted by leading rum brands at notable venues throughout the area. A robust schedule of rum-themed special events during the week culminates in a two-day grand tasting exhibition from 1 to 7pm Saturday and Sunday, April 21-22 at the Deauville Beach Resort at 6701 Collins Avenue. The main event features nearly a hundred rum and island lifestyle exhibits, offering complimentary samples of hundreds of fine rums.

According to event organizers Robert and Robin Burr, their Miami Rum Fest has doubled in size each year, a testament to the fact that consumer interest in sugar cane spirits is growing rapidly, faster than any other category of liquor.
