International Safety Group Announces Management Additions
PURCHASE, N.Y., Feb. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- International Safety Group, (OTC BB: ISGI), an occupational risk management services company, today announced the following management additions. Robert Simoni CFO, Denise Groneman COO, Michael Benjamin, Compliance Officer and Treasurer and Mikhail Geller Chief Accounting Officer.
ROBERT SIMONI Chief Financial Officer
Robert is responsible for managing all of ISG's financial activities, which include financial planning, cash flow management and financial reporting. Robert is deeply involved in the daily operations of ISG and works closely with the sales staff to develop the company's pricing strategy. Robert also takes an active role in business development, which includes negotiating joint venture and business alliances. Prior to joining ISG, Robert worked for ComJet Aviation where his duties included analyzing customer credit risk, evaluating aircraft lease transactions and assisting in international marketing. Robert has also worked for the investment bank Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette and their acquirer Credit Suisse. Over the years, Robert has performed accounting and financial consulting to numerous businesses from diverse industries and sits on the board of directors of several of these companies. Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Villanova University and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.
DENISE M. GRONEMAN Chief Operating Officer
Denise M. Groneman is Chief Operating Officer for International Safety Group. Prior to her appointment in December 2012, Ms. Groneman was the Vice President of Administration and Operations for Certified Site Safety, overseeing all operational aspects of the company. Ms. Groneman brings more than 24 years of experience in the construction industry. Being on both the operations and management teams in the past, Denise is able to work closely with both executives teams and employees to achieve the cooperation and team work necessary to run the day to day of a successful organization. Prior to joining Certified Site Safety in December 2009, Ms. Groneman had a long career in the private sector of property management and general construction with Cappelli Enterprise of Valhalla, NY. Ms. Groneman held several positions including executive assistant to president, payroll administrator and accounts payable manager, assistant project manager and office manager of administration and operation. From 2007- 2009 Denise severed as Vice President of The Louis R. Cappelli Foundation overseeing the 501c(3) entity.
Denise attended SUNY Morrisville where she studied Public Health Technology and is a graduate of Suffolk County Community College. She is a Life Member of RTVAC and has severed on the March of Dimes Northern Metro Division Real Estate Award Committee.
MICHAEL BENJAMIN Chief Compliance Officer and Treasurer
Prior to his appointment, Michael Benjamin served as controller and oversaw the accounting, human resource, insurance, and finance departments for Certified Site Safety. He brings over 11 years of experience in corporate management, methodologies and regulations.
Prior to that, Michael had a career with an independent CPA firm in Greenwich, CT specialized in restructuring and organizing firms. Michael graduated with a Masters Degree by the age of 21 and has been recognized as an upcoming future professional star by Westchester Magazine. Benjamin holds a Master's with Distinction in Business and Marking from New York Institute of Technology. He is a member of Institute of Management Accountants, and the Society of Industry Leaders.
MIKHAIL GELLER Chief Accounting Officer
Mr. Geller contributes over 10 years of experience in banking, management consulting, change implementation and operations optimization. Mr. Geller began his career at Morgan Stanley in the Unclaimed Property Department. In this capacity, he was charged with the entire retail side of the business, dealing with Branches, Clients, and State Governments in all 50 states. Mr. Geller left Morgan Stanley to consult at the Citigroup Private Bank in a Sarbanes Oxley/Basel II Operational Risk Role. Aside from creating Risk-Control Matrixes for departments in Singapore, Europe, and the US, Mr. Geller also tested the Sales and Services teams based in New York that covered Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Mr. Geller holds a B.A. in International Relations and a Minor in Economics from Colgate University. As an undergraduate, he interned at Coudert Brothers in their Moscow office and Baxter Investment in Greenwich, Connecticut.
