Intradyn Launches New Archive Operating System for Appliances

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn., Jan. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Intradyn, an email archiving and eDiscovery expert, has announced that its Archive Operating System (AOS) 5.2 upgrade is now available. The product offers distributed searching capabilities, one-click contact viewing and enhanced monitoring and reporting.

The new operating system allows another RazorSafe Appliance to be added on for more archiving and backup storage space without having to replace the first unit or migrate its data. The user is notified when the RazorSafe Appliance for email archiving is running low on space and prevents it from overloading.

"AOS 5.2 works with our RazorSafe Appliance to infinitely expand the storage and processing capabilities," said Adnan Olia, chief operating officer of Intradyn. "Our new federated search feature lets the user seamlessly search for data across multiple units. Our storage expansion is augmented by equivalent processing power to satisfy the need for complex eDiscovery requests."

Another feature is a one-view contact so that users can see all of their archived Outlook email contacts, regardless of when or where they are saved in the company's archiving system. The new AOS 5.2 provides added stability and resilience to the data storage system over version 5.1. It is also available for the Intradyn flagship product Orca Virtual appliance using VMware.
