BOSTON, Dec. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- eSports.US, an organization dedicated to raising money for charity to promote competitive gaming in the United States, today announces the acquisition of Team Mischief. The professional Dota 2 team has been rebranded into Team Freedom with the players' continued support of the eSports.US mission to promote its charitable efforts.

"We are very excited to be able to join an organization like eSports.US as we truly believe in their philanthropic goals," said Zach Rock, manager of Team Freedom. The team plans to dedicate a percentage of all winnings to charity indefinitely. Corey Helms, former manager of Team Leviathan, also joins the eSports.US team as a liaison and adviser. "Corey adds tremendous experience and knowledge to our organization, and we welcome his genuine insight," explains Nich Wattanasin, founder and owner of eSports.US.

Team Freedom is comprised of veteran and seasoned players hailing from across the United States and Canada.
