PITTSBURGH, June 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "When I was a CNA, I helped people put on their compression hose," said an inventor from Knoxville, Tenn. "It was often difficult to get the garments on, and it was painful for the patient as well. I came up with this idea to make the process more comfortable and convenient."
She created a prototype for the EASY-UPS to help patients and nurses slide up compression stockings with ease. The unit easily guides the compression stocking over the foot and ankle. The accessory eliminates resistance when putting on compression stockings. This saves time and effort, and makes putting on compression stockings more comfortable and less painful. Additionally, it is easy to use.
