PITTSBURGH, Dec. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "My wife has Alzheimer's disease and frequently leaves the water running," said an inventor from Ridgeway, Va. "This inspired me to develop a better faucet that would ensure that the water was turned off when the handles were released."
He developed the SPRING LOADED FAUCET to provide a convenient and efficient design that would conserve water. It would ensure that the water would not be left running after leaving the fixture. It could be adaptable for use with most lavatories and kitchen sinks.
The original design was submitted to the national sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
