InventHelp Inventor Develops Easy-to-Apply Catcher's Shin Protectors (LGI-2667)
PITTSBURGH, Oct. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- When baseball players get ready to take their particular positions on the field, the one who plays catcher always needs the most time to add the required protective padding. Thanks to the creative thinking of an inventor from West Islip, N.Y., however, catchers can now be ready to play with less time and effort.
He developed ELASTIC SECURED CATCHER'S LEG GUARDS not only to protect a baseball catcher's legs from injury but to make them easier to apply unassisted than conventional shin guards. As such, they save time and effort for players and coaches alike because cumbersome attachment straps found on conventional leg guards are no longer needed to keep them firmly in place. The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "While watching my daughter's softball team play," he said. "I noticed how difficult it was for the catchers to put the conventional pads on, even with the coach helping them."
