PITTSBURGH, Sept. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "I thought that there had to be a better way to keep guns out of the hands of criminals," said an inventor from Dunwoody, Ga. "I came up with this idea as a way to promote community safety by ensuring that there are fewer guns out there on the streets."
He developed the W.T. SMART DEVICE to make it easier to keep track of a firearm's whereabouts. The invention helps to keep firearms out of the hands of unauthorized individuals. It allows a firearm to be recovered in the event that is stolen or missing. This is designed to reduce the incidence of crime. It could contribute to safer communities by keeping guns off the streets. Additionally, the idea is adaptable for use with any weapon.
