PITTSBURGH, March 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Skokie, Ill., has developed the HIDDEN FASTENER, a device designed to securely fasten objects on a vertical mounting surface such as a wall or a door. It can be utilized for both interior and exterior applications, as well as for permanent or temporary attachment requirements. This is a patented design, and a prototype is available.
"I was driven to develop a means that would permit attaching objects to a vertical surface, yet would be hidden from view. I also wanted to achieve this without altering the viewed surface of the attached object. This device was the result of this need," said the inventor.
The HIDDEN FASTENER provides a secure, tamper-resistant attachment of an object to a vertical surface. It will add an aesthetically pleasing touch to certain pieces of artwork. This device offers fastening capabilities while not allowing any defacing of the viewable side of the object being hung. Its simple installation allows for common tools to be used. In addition, the installation of this device will allow repeated removal and reinstallation of the attached object. It is ideal for mounting both flat and irregular shaped items to both flat and irregular surfaces.
The original design was submitted to the Chicago office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
