PITTSBURGH, Oct. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- While motorists with CD players in their vehicles can play back particular tracks of recorded music, until now that option was not available on car radios. Thanks to the creative thinking of an inventor from Houston, Texas, however, the ability to replay a song, sales advertisement or announcement that has just aired on the radio is now also available.
She developed D R R to enable motorists to rewind, pause and/or record a radio broadcast and play it back, improving the functionality of car radios. Thus it actually enhances the enjoyment of music, news and other programming while traveling in a motor vehicle. At the same time, it allows users to keep up with news reported in television programs they may miss while on the road. Entertaining and easy to operate, this automotive innovation is also versatile for use with a variety of makes and models of motor vehicle radios. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I didn't like missing news stories, shows and contests while traveling by car," she said. "I realized something like this would solve that problem."
The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
