PITTSBURGH, Feb. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Inventors from Clarksville, Tenn., have developed the NEW GENERATION PICKUP TRUCK, a pickup truck with a bed capable of being transformed from a standard box configuration to a flatbed and vice-versa. This design makes the truck very versatile to the owner by allowing larger, bulky items to be easily loaded and transported.
"We were inspired to develop our idea due to personal experience. We want to make it easier to load items into the bed of pickup trucks. We created a way to turn the bed of a truck into a flatbed-style truck," said the inventors. The NEW GENERATION PICKUP TRUCK offers easy loading and unloading of items. It offers extra on-command cargo space. This will prevent having to squeeze large loads into the bed of a truck. The expanded hauling capacity this truck provides will prevent the need to make extra trips when hauling loads. In addition, it will prevent the need to rent a flatbed truck for certain work tasks. This simple-to-adjust and use feature on the truck also enhances travel safety.
