PITTSBURGH, Oct. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "Tailgating is the second most dangerous action a driver can perform," said an inventor from Pennsburg, Pa. "This inspired me to develop a means to improve road safety and reduce the number of accidents."
He developed the patent pending TAILGATE REPORTER to warn a driver to back off. This device would make motorists aware of dangerous driving habits and may result in their maintaining a safe travel distance. It would also discourage tailgating to help prevent collisions while preventing road rage. Additionally, the invention would record the tailgater for a police summons to be issued.
