PITTSBURGH, Oct. 22, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Pickup trucks stand too high from the ground to allow drivers and/or passengers to reach easily into the truck bed without scratching the paint. Fortunately, an inventor from Biloxi, Miss., has found a way to compensate for that height.
He developed a prototype for EASY STEP to provide easy access to the back of a pickup truck without having to lower the tailgate, or step into the bumper. At the same time, this durable adjustable automotive attachment is easy to install and use and will not interfere with the towing function or capacity. Once installed, it remains securely in place. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I couldn't retrieve items inside the bed of my pickup truck because I am not tall enough to reach over the back," he said.
The original design was submitted to the Washington, D.C., sales office of InventHelp. It is currently patent-pending and is available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
