PITTSBURGH, Oct. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- To be successful at bagging game animals, sportsmen know they need to remain undetected by their prey. To this end, an inventor from Remus, Mich., has come up with an idea that will distract the animal and render it calm enough to be an easy target and draw other deer as well into the crosshairs of the hunter's gun.
He developed patent pending STAY CALM to allow a hunter to create the appearance of a turkey roosting in a hunting tree stand. As such, it improves the chances that approaching deer will spot the turkey, feel safe, stay calm and feed nearby. Since it reduces the likelihood that the animal will detect the hunter and run away, it actually attracts other deer to gather calmly in the area. It, therefore, improves the likelihood of a clear shot and a successful kill. This innovative hunting accessory is also sturdy, adjustable and easy to assemble and use. In addition, it is convenient, effective, lightweight and portable.
The inventor's hunting experience inspired the idea. "While hunting from my tree stand," he said, "I often lost a chance at getting a buck because a doe would approach, spot me and warn other game of the danger and run away."
